Passing to the Grand Lodge Above
It is with sincere regret that we have to announce the Passing to the Grand Lodge Above of E. Comp.T Victor Condlyffe, PGSN,on the 8th December after a long illness and whilst in Hospital.
Victor was the Provincial Third Grand Principal in 1980 and Promoted to PAGDC in the same tear, He was Promoted to PGStB in 1988 and was appointed Deputy Grand Superintendent in 1993, an office he held for 11 years. He was promoted in Grand Rank to PGSwdB in 1994 and to PGSN in 2005.
He held Honorary Membership in no less than 14 Chapters within the Province.
At the 544th regular meeting of St Kenelm Lodge No. 6082 on the 20th October 2015 he was presented a certificate by The R. W. Provincial Grand Master, to mark 70 years’ service to Freemasonry.
This is only the second time a 70 year certificate has been presented in the Province of Worcestershire.
E. Comp. Victor was initiated into St Kenelm Lodge in October 1945 just two months after the Lodge was consecrated, his father being a founder member. Victor served as Master in 1955 and 1995. His Masonic credentials are impeccable; not only did he hold the rank of PGSN he also Promoted to the Grand Rank in Craft of PAGReg in 2003.
Not only did Victor have a distinguished Masonic career- he also served in the RAF during the Second World War, when he flew Catalina flying boats on anti-submarine patrols over the Atlantic.
