Provincial Sanhedrin on their Travels
Monday 19th February saw 18 Companions from the Province of Worcestershire cross the border into Warwickshire to conduct a Provincial Visit to Athol Chapter No. 74. One of the oldest Chapters in the Province of Warwickshire having been Consecrated in 1862.
The Provincial Executive comprising the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, The Deputy Grand Superintendent, The Second and Third Provincial Grand Principals, the Provincial Scribe Ezra and Three Past Third Principals of the Province together with Eight Provincial Officers of the Year and two Companions who attempted to disguise themselves by wearing Warwickshire Ties, witnessed the Presentation of a Supreme Grand Chapter Certificate by the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent of Warwickshire, E. Comp. Philip Hall, in a most eloquent manner together with the Exaltation of Brother, now Companion, Stewart Charlesworth with workings not clearly defined as either the Old Midland Workings or Athol Workings but nevertheless competently executed.
The “Star” performance of the evening was the presentation of the Mystical Lecture by our own E. Comp. Mike Perrott, PPrGStwd, which was delivered in an excellent manner the likes of which are rarely witnessed.
On completion we were hosted at an excellent Festive Board which brought to an end what can only be described as a First Class Masonic Evening.
